The Japanese Club at John Bapst is a place where members learn and enjoy Japanese culture, including language, games, crafts, food, and animation. Recently, an origami competition was held. Origami is a traditional Japanese craft of folding a sheet of paper into objects. Each group worked together to make a cup, tie, hat, and heart, and the fastest group that made all of these objects received a prize. It’s one of nearly 40 clubs at John Bapst that offers great opportunities to gather with fellow students from diverse communities and socialize outside the classroom. The club is open to all students.
